Biographie scientifique

Christophe Baudouin is professor of Ophthalmology since 1995, Versailles Saint-Quentin - Paris Saclay University. He is chairman of the department of Ophthalmology III in Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital, Paris, president of the Medical Council and director of the University-Hospital Institute (IHU) FORESIGHT. From 2008 to 2022 he was also the Director of an INSERM-labelled research group, at Vision Institute, Sorbonne University. He is currently the president of the European Dry Eye Society, Editor-in-chief of the French Journal of Ophthalmology, vice-president of the French Glaucoma Society, and active member of several international societies, including the prestigious American Ophthalmological Society and Academia Ophthalmologica Internationalis. He was awarded in 2015 Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur in 2015.
