ASSISTANT ENGINEER IN MOLECULAR AND CELLULAR BIOLOGY
Context
Our group studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the formation of neural networks, with a particular focus on the development of the visual system. We also apply this knowledge to develop potential regenerative therapeutic strategies for eye diseases such as glaucoma.
The research team
The Sensory and Motor Circuits Development team at the Institut de la Vision (Paris) is seeking an engineering assistant to start in September 2026. The Institut de la Vision is part of Sorbonne University, Inserm, and the CNRS, and offers a multidisciplinary environment that includes teams active in a variety of fields ranging from developmental biology to theoretical neuroscience and the development of retinal prostheses.
