This agreement forges a special partnership for research on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of eye diseases. It aims to boost collaboration between Fovea Pharmaceuticals, sanofi-aventis’ ophthalmology division, and the academic research at the Institute de la Vision through public bodies associated with it. This collaboration will foster the sharing of skills via a translational model of R&D designed to accelerate the identification and provision of innovative solutions that address unmet medical needs. Close interaction will be further encouraged by having the two teams work together on a single Campus, located in Paris and dedicated to research and treatment for eye and vision diseases, for which there is an immense need.
