Ayoub Lassoued is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Vision Institute, Sorbonne University, France, working under the direction of Kate Grieve on the development of optical coherence tomography imaging techniques, specially tailored for in vivo studies of human subjects. He obtained his Ph.D at Indiana University, Bloomington, United States, in 2021, where he worked on high-resolution structural and functional imaging of the retina in retinitis pigmentosa (RP) subjects. Since then, he aims to develop retinal imaging techniques to further understand the natural history of RP and assess any changes due to various treatments.
