The programs and partnerships department, together with the Vision Institute's supervisors, supports researchers and clinicians in their efforts to transform their research into innovations for the benefit of the patients and the visually impaired people.

The "Programs & partnerships" team supports the scientific activities and innovative ideas of the Vision Institute :

• by assisting and managing research projects that promote interdisciplinarity,

• by monitoring national, European and international calls for projects, informing the researchers and helping them to respond to the most appropriate ones,

• by providing financial support to the most appealing projects through "Carnot Institute - Voir & Entendre" grants.

The team promotes technology transfer:

• by identifying promising research projects,
  
  
• by making scientists aware of patent filing and by assisting them in the procedure of innovative ideas protection,
  
  
• by transferring these inventions through industrial partnerships (licensing agreements on registered patents , puplic-private research partnership, etc.),
