Stéphane Melik Parsadaniantz, PhD, HDR (co director) is research Director at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). He is the Co Director of Team S12 in Vision Institute, UMR 7210, UMRS 968, Université Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris 6. His recognized expertise brings together two research fields: neuroscience and immunopathology. His fundamental researches focus on the role of chemokines in neuroimmune interactions during neuropathic spinal and trigeminal pain and in neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. His innovative works was among pioneers to demonstrate the role of chemokine as new neuromodulators in the central nervous system.
