Dr Jie HeInvited by Filippo Del Bene, Dr Jie He (Senior Investigator in the  Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) will give a talk on Thursday September 14th, 10.00 AM, in the conference room of the UCL, 13 Rue Moreau.

This talk will be dealing with "The logic of retinal development".

Abstract
In the central nervous system development, the cohort of interactive neural progenitor cells proliferate and differentiate to achieve the correct cell number and cell-type composition of various neural tissues. In the talk, I will introduce our recent studies in the developing zebrafish retina to reveal the logic underlying the generation of correct cell numbers and cell types in the developing neuroepithelium.
