Dr. Xavier Guillonneau is leading a group in Team 14 focused on the involvement of inflammatory mechanisms in retinal vascular diseases (diabetic retinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity) and in neurodegenrative processes associated with age related macular degeneration. Xavier Guillonneau is working for more than 15 years in the field of ophthalmology. He had expertise in eye pathophysiology (PhD, UPMC 1997), genetic (Postdoctoral fellowship at the Jules Stein Intstitute, UCLA, USA), retinal development (senior staff researcher at INSERM) and in inflammatory processes leading to degeneration and vascular remodeling. Dr. Guillonneau has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals including Human Molecular Genetics, Journal of Neuroscience, Developmental Biology, Circulation, PLoS Medicine, Angiogenesis, and EMBO Mol Med.

CECILE DELARASSE
Dr. Cécile Delarasse is leading a group in Team 14 focused on the involvement of immune and autoimmune mechanisms in uveitis and inflammatory processes associated with age related macular degeneration. She had expertise in neuroimmunology and autoimmunity (PhD, Sorbonne University 2004), purinergic receptor (Postdoctoral fellowship at University Paris sud) and in inflammatory processes in neurodegenerative diseases (senior staff researcher at INSERM since 2009). Since 2020, she managed the flow cytometry core facility of IDV (Cellular and tissular phenotyping platform). Her work on immune responses in central nervous system diseases has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Molecular Psychiatry, Progress in Neurobiology, JCI, Aging cell, Brain and Immunity.
