Christiane is a trained biophysicist with experience in protein engineering, patch-clamp electrophysiology and Optogenetics. Currently, her research focuses on the use of microbial rhodopsins for two-photon voltage imaging and the development of genetically-encoded tools to enable all-optical experiments in neurons.
