Knowledge Base for Sensory Systems (KBaSS): KBaSS will develop new computational tools and methods for genome/phenotype data integration and knowledge discovery in neurosensory systems, namely vision and audition, with the objective of catalysing the progresses toward their description in terms of systems biology. Complex biological and clinical data will be collected, managed, updated and linked by researchers of the neurosensory field. This system will enable the development of neurosensory models for gene identification, disease mechanisms, therapeutic strategies and disease management.
