logo fve new 0In accordance with U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) regulations, Fondation Voir et Entendre has implemented a Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) policy in research.

Fondation Voir et Entendre (FVE) has developed a procedure for use by research employees or others who wish to make an allegation of research misconduct and to develop procedures to promote research integrity policy.

Research misconduct means fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results :

(a) Fabrication is making up data or results and recording or reporting them.

(b) Falsification is manipulating research materials, equipment, or processes, or changing or omitting data or results such that the research is not accurately represented in the research record.

(c) Plagiarism is the appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit.

(d) Research misconduct does not include honest error or differences of opinion.

Reporting Misconduct / General Inquiries

If you have any questions concerning research misconduct and research integrity or if you wish to make an allegation of research misconduct, Fondation Voir et Entendre has designated a Research Integrity Officer (RIO). The RIO is Dominique Santiard-Baron.

She will contact the RIO of our supervisory bodies (Inserm, CNRS, Sorbonne Université) to deal with any allegation.

This applies to all United States Public Health Service (PHS)-sponsored Investigators of the Institution.

FVE has signed a statement on Dealing with Allegations of Research Misconduct Under United States Public Health Service (USPHS) Research‑related Activities for Foreign Institutions that is a permanent amendment to the institution’s procedures for responding to allegations of research misconduct (link to the statement).
