Her research interests include stem cells derived from human cornea and the study of their self-renewal and differential potential, leading towards in vitro reconstruction of an artificial cornea suitable for transplantation. Analyzation of proliferation and differentiation of these cells using cell biology techniques: Cell culture of stem cells and cell lines (human fibroblasts and mouse fibroblasts), Cloning, immunohistochemistry, qPCR, sequencing, flow cytometry, cell sorting, western blot etc..
