Presentation
The Foundation Voir et Entendre was created in May 2007 by two internationally renowned experts, Prof. Christine Petit (Institut Pasteur, Collège de France) and Prof. José-Alain Sahel (Quinze-Vingts hospital, Inserm, UPMC).
The Foundation's objective is to coordinate and to finance research programs on ocular and auditory diseases. Its mission is to stimulate the collaboration between funtamental, clinical and industrial research, so as to accelerate therapeutic innovation for the benefit of the patients.
The Voir & Entendre Foundation brings together the department of neuroscience of the Pasteur Institute, managed by Prof. Christine Petit and the Vision Institute, managed by Prof. José-Alain Sahel, as well as the Clinical Investigation Centre of the Quinze-Vingts hospital, three reference centres for rare diseases and four clinical hospital departments.
