Our research

Scientific research activities take up three floors in the 6,000 m2 building and group more than 200 scientists (Inserm - SU - CNRS) specialized in vision disorders. There are more than 15 research teams grouped in four departments.

Conception and evaluation of innovative therapies for common ophthalmological diseases : dry eye, age related macular degeneration, ischemic proliferative retinopathy (retinal vein occlusion, diabetic retinopathy) and glaucoma. Understanding and modeling of pathological pathways, drug target discovery and gene therapy.
